Click here for the Website Discussion Boards
Update: The dicussion boards are now up and running. Already we have a number of members engaging in discussions about Lark Force and the website. We hope to have the full website launched in the coming months. I encourage you to sign up to the Discussion Board to register your interest in the website. All major announcements will be made on the Discussion Board in future.
This website is intended to eventually serve as a community meeting point for family members and friends of those who served in Lark Force.
Not only will it include histories of the events and people that shaped the conflict in New Britain in 1942, it will also give users of the website the ability to:
- Register as members to receive updates on the website
- Participate in discussions on a message board system with other users
- Contribute photographs, journals, documents and anything else of interest relating to Lark Force
- Most importantly - keep the memories of those who were left behind and those who survived, burning bright into the 21st century.
We hope to have the site up and running as soon as possible. However with the size and scope of this not-for-profit website it will take a reasonable amount of time to make sure everything is running as intended.
If you would like to learn more about the website, offer some help, or simply get in touch, you can call me on the numbers below or send en email via the Enquiry Form.
I have also setup a Message Board for people to discuss the future direction of the website - Lark Force Website Discussion.
Thank you,
